Jose “Tito” Yunda brings more than 25 years of aviation industry experience, from airline fleet management to helicopter operations, having a deep knowledge in all phases of the aircraft life cycle, comprising from fleet planning, negotiations with OEMs, aircraft financing, entry into service procedures and contract management to aircraft returns, purchases, and sales.
During his career, Tito has achieved:
Lead the negotiation of the aircraft sale agreements with Airbus, Boeing and ATR, totaling 239 aircraft, with a value of more than $10 billion.
+150 aircraft operating leases negotiated
+250 new and used aircraft incorporated in Colombia, Brazil, Ecuador, Peru, Salvador and Costa Rica
Several aircraft leases extensions, amendments, and renegotiations
35 used aircraft purchased
Planning and execution of new fleet incorporations: Fokker 100, Airbus 320 CEO and NEO, Airbus 330 passenger and freighter, Boeing 787 and ATR 72-600

Before founding TYAviation, Tito worked 18 years as Fleet management director at Avianca Airlines and 2 years as General Manager of Helicol.
Tito received his BS in Business Administration with honors from Javeriana University and Executive MBA from IE Business Institute in Madrid, awarded with the Icetex – IE Scholarship.
